Healthy, Hearty, a 3 Ingredient breakfast made of Spinach, Apple and Orange… my on-the-go Green Smoothie for a healthy morning…!!
I’ve never been a smoothie fan, especially of those so called “healthy”, “green”, “low calorie”, “burn your fat” smoothies, not until I started preparing them on my own recently. It just so happened that I had some extra spinach and fruits (again I am lazy to cut and chew fruits, I prefer drinking them) and I was looking at some stunning smoothie photographs in Pinterest. That’s where I read about the blend of spinach and fruits, again a combination which I haven’t tried much as I am more of a savory person when it comes to spinach.
These are a no brainer recipe, all you need to do is blend, sooo easy, Waalah…!
Spinach is a superfood and contains tons of nutrients, proteins, vitamins and a lot more. And unlike greens juices, smoothies retain all the fiber thus being a good digestive and keep you fuller. Just adding a handful of spinach and blending it up with any sweet fruit is enough for your smoothie drink. Apples and oranges with spinach are surprisingly delicious and sweet…

- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 1 big handful of fresh spinach
- ½ cup water
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
