In a large bowl, mix ground pork with pepper, red chili flakes, brown sugar, Italian seasonings, salt, and garlic and onion powder. Gently mix with your hands or with a spoon to combine the seasonings well.

Divide the sausage into equally sized balls. Flatten them into ½ inch sized patties by placing them between your oiled palms.

Heat a pan with little oil. Pan fry these patties 2-3 minutes (depending on the thickness) on each side until they are browned and cooked through. Leftover sausage patties can be refrigerated and stored in an air tight container for up to 4 days.

Serve with toasted bread, eggs, fresh fruits, and juice for a perfect breakfast OR make breakfast sandwiches with croissant, sausage and eggs. You can cook the eggs as per your choice.
